Abstract
Established in 1991, Phytochemical Analysis is a peer-reviewed journal focusing on the analytical methodology of botany. In other words, it publishes research and reviews on plants and the compounds they contain, as well as the techniques for extracting and analyzing these compounds. It is indexed and abstracted in over 60 databases, including Web of Science and PubMed. The journal is issued bimonthly, and according to 2013 reports, its impact factor is 2.45. The present editor-in-chief is Satyajit D. Sarker.
