Experience the ultimate summer refreshment with this easy homemade tangerine sorbet. Made with just one ingredient, this light and invigorating treat contains no artificial flavors or added sugar, offering pure, natural goodness in every bite. It is sure to become your go-to dessert for hot summer days, offering a burst of citrusy freshness in every spoonful.

  1. Peel the tangerines and separate the pieces, making sure there aren’t any seeds.(5 minutes)
  2. Arrange the peeled tangerines on a baking sheet and freeze them overnight.(6 hours)
  3. Remove the frozen tangerines from the freezer and place them in a food processor. Process until smooth. The mixture will go from dry and crumbly to creamy and smooth. If you want to use a high-powered blender instead of a food processor, add a little bit of water to help the blades process the tangerines.(5 minutes)
  4. Scoop the sorbet into bowls, garnish with your favorite toppings, and enjoy right away!

This tangerine sorbet is naturally lightly sweet, but if you want more sweetness, you can add a little bit of honey or maple syrup during the blending process, or drizzle it as a garnish for serving. Great topping ideas include crushed nuts, toasted coconut flakes, shaved dark chocolate, chopped mint, or whipped cream.
