  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • Ground black pepper (a pinch)

Directions

This chai latte, naturally sweetened with stevia, brings together the rich flavors of black tea and warming spices like cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and cardamom for a cozy, comforting drink. It's easy to make at home with a few simple ingredients, making it both budget-friendly and delicious. Pour yourself a cup, add a sprinkle of cinnamon on top, and enjoy the perfect blend of spice and sweetness in every sip.

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it starts to simmer. Turn off the heat, add the stevia leaves and black tea, and let it steep for about 5 minutes. Strain the tea mixture and return the liquid to the pan.(5 minutes)
  2. Place the pan back over medium heat. Add the ground cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves, and a pinch of black pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is hot.(4 minutes)
  3. Pour into two mugs. Optionally, top with foamed milk and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon. Enjoy!
