This oven-toasted muesli is made without any sweeteners or oils. It's crunchy, flavorful, and has light cinnamon undertones. It's also incredibly rich in important nutrients, including healthy fats, fiber, and protein from kaniwa, oats, pumpkin seeds, and nuts. Dried apricots and cranberries, on the other hand, make this muesli slightly sweet and chewy.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (176°C).
- Mix the oats with salt and ground cinnamon and spread them on one baking sheet. Spread the almonds, pecans, and pumpkin seeds on another sheet. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes the nuts until are fragrant.(15 minutes)
- Then take both baking sheets out of the oven. Transfer the nuts and seeds to a large bowl. Add the kaniwa pop to the baking sheet with the oats. Bake for another 5-8 minutes, keeping an eye on it to prevent burning.(5 minutes)
- Then add them to the bowl along with dried cranberries and apricots. Mix to combine. Set aside to cool, then transfer to an airtight container for storage. Enjoy!
