  • 6 passion fruits
  • 2 tablespoons of honey (or more to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon of water
  • 1/2 tablespoon of cornstarch

This healthy passion fruit coulis is a vibrant, naturally sweetened topping perfect for drizzling over yogurt, pancakes, or desserts. Made with fresh passion fruit, raw honey, and a touch of cornstarch for a silky texture, this coulis is lightly thickened to highlight the fruit's tropical tang. Quick and easy to prepare, this coulis adds a bright, refreshing flavor to any dish while keeping things simple and wholesome.

  1. Slice the passion fruits in half and scoop the pulp into a small saucepan.(5 minutes)
  2. Add honey and heat on low-medium, stirring until dissolved.(2 minutes)
  3. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water, then whisk it into the warm passion fruit mixture. Simmer while stirring until the coulis thickens and turns glossy.(5 minutes)
  4. Remove from heat, let it cool slightly, then transfer to a jar. Store in the fridge until ready to use.
