  • Tahini paste

  • sesame seeds
    Sesame seeds
  • Maple Syrup
    Maple syrup
  • coconut oil
    Coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup of HerbaZest Cacao Powder
  • 1 tablespoon of tahini paste
  • 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds (or more; toasted)
  • 3 tablespoons of maple syrup (or to taste)
  • 3 tablespoons of coconut oil

Directions

Most people don't realize that making chocolate from scratch is so easy! It also allows you to skip the refined sugar found in store-bought chocolate and use nutritious ingredients such pure cacao. This homemade chocolate is flavored with sesame, which adds a depth of flavor and a lovely crunch.

  1. In a saucepan or a microwave, melt together the coconut oil, maple syrup, and tahini until smooth.(2 minutes)
  2. Sift in the cacao powder and mix to combine.(2 minutes)
  3. Mix in the sesame seeds (add more if you like it extra crunchy).(1 minute)
  4. Pour into the chocolate mold and place it in the fridge to set. Enjoy!(1 hour)
