  • 1/2 cup of strawberries (sliced)
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seed
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons of maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Salt (a pinch)

Directions

Strawberry banana baked kaniwa flakes are a delicious and nutritious breakfast option, packed with hearty protein and fiber. This easy-to-make dish combines the natural sweetness of strawberries and bananas with the unique, nutty flavor of kaniwa, providing a wholesome and satisfying start to your day.

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mash one of the bananas. Add in the milk, egg, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.(4 minutes)
  3. Mix in the kaniwa flakes, chia seeds, and salt.(2 minutes)
  4. Fold in the strawberries. Then transfer the batter to a 10x7-inch baking dish. Slice the remaining banana and place it on top of the mixture.(3 minutes)
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown and baked through.(30 minutes)
