Ingredients

  • 2 cups of cucumber (grated)
  • 1 1/2 cups of greek yogurt
  • 1 clove of garlic (minced)
  • Dill (for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt (fine; or to taste)

Directions

Tzatziki is a popular yogurt-based sauce that often accompanies Greek dishes, such as grilled vegetables or gyros. It fresh and tangy flavors come from a combination of lemon, garlic, cucumbers, and dill. It's easy to make and adds unique zing to a variety of meals.

  1. Squeeze the grated cucumbers between your palms to remove excess water. Place them in a bowl.(3 minutes)
  2. Add the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, and salt. Give it a mix and set aside to a few minutes for the flavors to mend.(5 minutes)
  3. Garnish with fresh dill and enjoy!
