Abstract
Annals of Botany is a peer-reviewed scientific journal devoted to all areas of plant science. It publishes full-length research papers as well as news and book reviews related to botany. The journal was first established in 1887; now published in both print and electronic form, two new issues are released every month. All abstracts since the time of its foundation are available in the journal's online archives, and all issues over 12 months old since 1993 can be fully accessed online, free of charge. The journal's 2013 impact factor is 3.295, and it was ranked 30th out of 196 in the Plant Sciences category that same year.
