Abstract
The International Journal of Antimicrobial Agents is the official, peer-reviewed journal of the International Society of Chemotherapy. It publishes original research and reviews from experts in the field on compounds that act against the different microbial lifeforms, including bacteria, fungi, parasites, and viruses. It gives special attention to work that provides insight or solutions to the growing problem of antimicrobial resistance. The current editor-in-chief is A.M. Geddes, and the 2013 impact factor is 4.259.
