Abstract
The Journal of Food Medicine publishes research on the active compounds in food, their safety, and how they impact health and disease. It is of special interest to food scientists and biochemistry researchers, as well as those interested in the science behind functional foods, phytonutrients, food safety, and more. The journal is edited by Sampath Parthasarathy and Young-Eun Lee. It is published monthly and has an impact factor of 1.699 as of 2013.
