About the Book
In this compilation, previously published as Rosemary Gladstar's Family Herbal, Gladstar guides the reader through the making of herbal remedies and their applications in an entertaining and engaging way. The recipes, divided into sections based on ailment and target age group, are complemented by facts about herbs, how to grow them, and amusing anecdotes from the author's decades-long experience in herbalism.
About the Author
Rosemary Gladstar, a resident of Vermont, has been a prominent and prolific herbalist for more than 35 years. In addition to being the author of numerous publications on herbalism, she is also the director of the International Herb Symposium and the annual Women's Herbal Conference, as well as the founder of the NGO United Plant Savers, which helps to protect medicinal plants in North America.
