About the Book
Many useful medicinal herbs found in the world's rainforests do not grow anywhere else on Earth. This book details more than 70 of these herbs, many of which have been used my indigenous people for thousands of years and are backed my scientific research in modern day. It also includes information on how to make remedies using these herbs, as well as the corresponding dosage and disorders.
About the Author
Leslie Taylor is a naturopath who has been researching herbal medicine for over 30 years. She is dedicated to preserving the rainforests and educating against exploitation of rainforest plants. She first visited the Peruvian Amazon rainforest to study cat's claw (Uncaria tomentosa). She lecturers and teaches classes on herbal medicine.
